  • About

We're a family owned and operated pick-your-own fresh fruit orchard

The Apples Don't Fall Far from the Tree

Doug and Nancy Roberts are the current owners and operators of the orchard. Along with their children, Sara and Daniel, the family harvests their various crops each fall season.

    Pick-Your-Own

Each fall we offer pick-your-own apples, raspberries and blackberries. Peaches can be purchased in our store. Come take a walk, breathe in some crisp mountain air, and enjoy our scenic orchard and fresh fruit.

  • Fruit

Over twenty-five varieties of four types of fruit harvested every fall

    Apples

Macoun, MacIntosh, Empire, Cortland, Red Delicious, Spencer, Gala, Spitzenburg, Honey Crisp, Mutsu, Paula Red, Jersey Mac.

    Peaches

Garnet Beauty, Starfire, Red Haven, Ernie's Choice, Bounty, Coral Star, Crest Haven, Flaming Fury, Autumn Glo, White Nectarine

    Raspberries

Traditionally harvested in the spring, we prune our raspberry bushes very low so they produce fruit in the fall so they can be enjoyed by our customers late into the season.

    Blackberries

Enjoy the sweet and tart pop of blackberries. Great for baking or just popping in your mouth for a snack.

  • Roots

The bounty of a tree depends on the strength of its roots

    The Roberts'

Granted the land by King George II of England, in 1740, our family struck out on a journey fueled by hard work, passion, and the yearning to forge a better life. Captivated by the cool mountain air, overlooking pastures, gardens, and cold water stream, our ancestors built our iconic farmhouse on what is now South Lane in Granville, Massachusetts. Our lineage has included carpenters, soldiers, horse breeders, and fruit growers. Passed down from generation to generation, this sacred ground has been the lifeblood to our family, and we look forward to sharing it with yours.

    Mission & Vision

Our mission is to provide fresh fruit to you and your family while fostering an appreciation for the bounty that, with a little love, grows from our orchard. With a vision to continue reaping the harvest that comes from our sacred ground, we invite you and your family to join us each fall. Come take a walk, savor fresh fruit and enjoy at the artistry of nature.
